Goin' Someplace Special

Set in the segregated South of the 1950s, 'Goin' Someplace Special' tells the story of 'Tricia Ann, a young African-American girl who is excited to go to a special place all by herself. As she makes her way through the city, she encounters the harsh realities of segregation, but her grandmother's words of wisdom and her own determination help her reach her destination: the public library, a place where all are welcome.
